This is the part of Social Work that everyone is waiting for - a chance to get out there in the "real world". Motivations for going into the field of Social Work may be many, but I believe that underlying most is a great love for people, and a desire to add our own small piece to the building up of a new and better world. Field Instruction is the place where you pull all of your learning together, where all of the theories begin to make sense as you come to understand people and situations within their context. This is where "best practice" becomes alive and vital. Welcome!
