MSW CURRICULM

Both Standard and Advanced Standing options may be sought on a full-time or part-time basis at Radford University's main campus.

ADVANCED STANDING PROGRAM (UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE IN SOCIAL WORK REQUIRED) |

Advanced Standing applicants must: 1) have earned a baccalaureate degree in social work (BSW) from a program accredited by the Council of Social Work Education within the past seven years and 2) a minimum GPA of 2.75 in undergraduate courses and a 3.0 in social work coursework. **Please note Students who apply for the ADVANCED STANDING PROGRAM but will be completing their BSW degrees during the spring or summer will be accepted condtionally on receipt of their BSW degrees. |

Admitting for Fall 2009, part time only
Required Classes are held for 6 hours(plus a lunch break) every other Saturday. There is substantial independent work and online work between classes meetings. Electives may be offered on a diiferent scheudle(i.e. may meet weekly rather than every ptjer Saturday) Students must take 3 electives but have flexibility in terms of when they are taken
